HOLY COW! So much has changed in such a short (well, not really) amount of time. I quit my suck-ass job and was unemployed for a MONTH!
I was pretty scared, but it felt good. I fucking hated that last job so bad that I would rather live off ramen and never go out, which by the way, never happened. Sure I ate a few bowls here and there, but I was still living la vida loca thanks to Discover. I caught up on my Dawsons Creek and sleep. Then the CUBBBIES started kicking some ass and now they are playing in the NLCS. Hello! We always joked about what it would be like living where we do if the Cubs went all the way. It is absolute hysteria where I live right now, but I am loving every second of it.
Best part of all, I GOT A NEW JOB! A great job. I can take the train! Thats HUGE! The pay is pretty good, my office is big ( I HAVE AN OFFICE!!!!), my view rocks, my computer kicks ass and get this... I am an ART DIRECTOR at an adverstising agency in the Loop! Everything I was praying for. Thank you, Monster.com!
Now if I could just pay off that rapidly increasing Discover card bill, Id be happy. I have alot of catching up to do bill wise. It's all minimum payments this month. Must stop clothes shopping!
The Boilers are even kicking some ass lately! Ah, fall. Life starts anew. I love Chicago. I love my life. Journal entries are hard to write when I am not pissed off about something. I am sure something will piss me off soon. Ill let you know.
