I couldn't have said it any better myself. Shit, after you listed all of the places you hang out, it's very likely that we've encountered each other and had no idea. It's a small, small town hidden in the skin of a big, big city.

I couldn't agree with you more!! I grew up back there and spent many a day in the city going to all those places. I go back every year and visit and I'm so in love with Chicago!! Now I live in Mesa, AZ and I'm DYING to move "back home", but my wife will have nothing to do with that! We'll see what happens though - I'll keep working on her. Hooray for you and your love of my favorite city! (love your banner - that's how i found you & glad i did too. i'll definately be returning)

Amen. Even though it's only an hour and a half south of where I am, I go visit down there hardly ever, but when I do, I feel the same way you so eloquently described it. I need a car and to go to all these cool places now :)
