Damn I'm old (40)! I remember most of this stuff the problem is I was in college or out of school when a lot of this stuff hit the scene. I still liked the Goonies though. I also I remember the days before politically correct became an issue. I was in my 6 year old sons class last week and told the kids to sit in Indian Style for an art project. The kids were looking at me like wtf are you talking about. They now call it criss-cross applesauce when did that change?

Bethany, this is what your website looks like after you drink too many cranberry and vodkas. Does it bring back memories of the weekend?

Oh yes -- What was this country bar? I hear there's one in Boys Town, but I know of no others. That would make for an interesting evening.

Hah! I love that list. I've seen it before, but I couldn't help but read it all over again. It's SO true! Have a good day, woman.

dude! bethany! that was an awesome entry today! it was so right on, but i was a little saddened by your lack of JEM. remember her? JEM rocked the casbah! i actually have a JEM shirt that i wear on occassion. its awesome. Fraggle rock was the shit! i remmember thinking what is wrong with these muppets? now its, are they on something? cuz they're acting like muppets on acid. still awesome. but honey... i still play MASH on long trips... or when i am bored in class. i think there is a comedian you should listen to, if you don't already. he does a little skit about the jordache jean jacket and jelly-shoes. his name is dane cook. i highly recommend you look into him. but seriously this entry is going down as my one of my favorites. and you were right about the bon jovi song... i DID start singing it!
