Hey kids!
Man am I ever bored. At a former job, I was dying to surf the web... in fact everytime my bitch-ass boss would leave, I would click on that tempting little undercase e icon. I would poise my thumb on the option key (yes, I am a card-carrying MAC user, deal.) and the Q key in case the aforementioned ball of negativity should happen to waddle back in.
I never thought I would run out of things to see on the internet. I am actually getting a headache from squinting at 9 point Arial on screen after screen. Use Trebuchet, damn it! It is easier to read! It has something to do with serifs. Dont ask.
I need suggestions. What should I bookmark next? Also, what should I download next? My iTunes is getting all fat and happy, but I still feel the need to feed her more and more. I probably have the most eclectic collection of music ever on my iTunes. Currently LimeWire is busy downloading Chris Rock sound bites. His voice soothes me as I attempt to feign working. Chris Rocks voice... soothing? Why dont I just download Charlton Heston reading the Horse Whisperer?
No thanks! Its Chris Rock for me. I could listen to him and Bobcat Goldwaith screech all the live long day!
I was sent this today via AIM by a former flame:
http://load.pquinn.com/binaries/fries/ (be sure to copy and paste. Diaryland doesnt let you do links unless you pay them and I refuse!)
I proceeded to laugh my flat heinie off! Clean off! Now I have an excuse for not filling up the back of my Levis. Not that I would wear Levis. As if.
Speaking of booties, I cant stop wiggling around in my seat to the song Fire by Busta Rhymes and some other faceless collaborator. I actually shut my office door today and did a little dance while I watched my reflection in the mirror. Oh dear... I noticed how pekid I look. Today I am wearing a robe as a sweater. Fuck the Gap. I bought it thinking it was a fun little duster, and the bitch ringing me up was like Oh, I just love this robe! Shit. I guess it is apropos. I feel like I am sleeping through my days here most of the time. How much alertness does it take to change the prices on some Camrys?
Not bloody much.
